What a day we had!!
Horsepower For Hope Afterburner Rally, raising money for Kids with Cancer Society
Thank you to Don Riep, the Horsepower for Hope Committee and all the sponsors.
It was made up of 200 hundred cars, 8 teams of 25 cars each with 8 rally stops along the way.
There were challenge at some of the stops where we had to earn points as a team.
At the end of the day there was a tailgate party for all the teams. Points were tallied and our team, Smiles per Gallon, ended up with the most points (638) and we one first prize.
Better yet the Rally raised over $500,000 dollars for Kids with Cancer.
The prize was a Casino Royal style BBQ dinner at a local hanger coming up later this summer.
