If you are looking for a fun and informative afternoon with your fellow Photographers this is the workshop for you. Contact 4 of your Photographer friends and book a workshop with us.
What is it: A 4 hour portrait lighting workshop where you will learn how to effectively and creatively shape light to produce interesting and dynamic portraits.
Heather Fryer, is an Accredited Professional Photographer in Studio Portraiture, High-Key and Low-key Portraits. In this workshop, Heather promises to share studio lighting techniques that she has learned. We will discuss how to achieve four classic lighting patterns—Rembrandt, loop, butterfly, and split.
Seating is limited to a total of FIVE attendees.
We will start off with a short presentation on the basics of studio lighting.
All you need to bring is a camera, lens, Godox Lighting trigger, memory cards, and a willingness to have some fun. It’s a small class size in a studio.
The only way to truly learn something is by doing it, so with my guidance, you'll be spending the majority of your day behind the camera applying what you learn.
All lighting, stands, backdrops, and light modifiers will be supplied for you.
A model (s) will be provided, so you can concentrate on the lighting.
We will be starting from the ground up, and whether you've never used lighting before, or have a decent grasp of it, you'll leave this workshop with a lot more knowledge than you came in with.
Workshop runs from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm. (doors open at 11:30 am) The studio has a massive parking lot with free parking.
